Use language to build bridges and overcome barriers.

When DTG decided over the last few years to expand its fleet to include new member companies, we realised we had to do something to improve our communication with those members, whose mother tongue is not German. To this end, we have negotiated an agreement with the company, which represents us in Stettin.

FULL STEAM AHEAD IN 2019!

“The biggest mistake one can ever make in life is to be continuously afraid of making mistakes.”
(Dietrich Bonhoeffer)

In this light, after a year that was extraordinary in many respects, let us face the challenges together with courage and confidence and take advantage of the opportunities that the new year holds for us.

All members of the DTG Team and our colleagues at ARNO-Ship would like to thank you for the trust you placed in us last year and are looking forward to a strong working relationship in 2019.

From practice, for practice – new colleague in Duisburg

Lukkezen

On 2 January 2019 we welcomed Ms Wiete Lukkezen (32) to our Disposition Team in Duisburg.

After completing her training to become a skipper on an inland waterway vessel, Ms Lukkezen worked for several years at the helm of such vessels before trading in her captain’s chair for an office chair in 2014.

With her training and experience, Ms Lukkezen is a knowledgeable partner for both our customers and our members. Providing support to Tobias Engels and House Andernach is the focus of her role.

We wish Ms Lukkezen all the best in her new position and look forward to working successfully with her.
