Looking ahead with confidence!

“Let man be a noble creature, helpful and good to others, because this alone
differentiates man from all other beings that we know”
Johann Wolfgang von Goethe (1749-1832)

We would like to take you into the New Year with this quotation and the reminder that only humans  have the  possibility to do  so  many  noble  things: to  question our actions  in a responsible manner; to correct wrongdoing; to show compassion; to not selfishly exploit weakness, but to utilize our strengths for the benefit of others.

The whole DTG-Team and our colleagues from ARNO-Ship would like to thank you for your support and cooperation in the past year. We wish you and your families a wonderful Christmas and look forward to continuing our relationship as fair partners in 2020.

As in previous years, we are once again supporting two charitable organisations this year, instead of sending out presents. The volunteers of the Hamburger Spendenparlament help to distribute charitable donations fairly to a number of charities. The Bunter Kreis Duisburg e.V. helps to provide care and support to seriously ill children and their families.

Tobias Engels, who is 38 years old, started as a trainee at the then Haniel Reederei GmbH in Duisburg from 1998 to 2001. After leaving the successor company, he has proved himself as a dispatcher and customer service representative, earning an excellent reputation in the industry.

For the last five years, he has been responsible for the DTG office in Andernach. In this role, he looks after our members south of Cologne and our business in southern Germany.

With this appointment we would like to thank Tobias Engels for his dedication to the company.

Success for DTG at the trade show transport logistic in Munich from 4th to 7th June 2019

Logistik-Messe

Once again DTG was able to present itself at the 17th international trade show for logistics, mobility, IT and supply chain management. At this year’s show there were over 2,000 exhibitors and more than 60,000 people attending.

For DTG the trade show was a resounding success.

As in previous years, we were able to present ourselves as a co-exhibitor on the exhibition stand of duisport. EWT was also represented on the stand. Through the high volume of     visitors to the stand, we were able to meet with over 70 customers and speak with many other people interested in our services. The conversations covered wide-ranging topics, with many of them providing exciting potential for the future.

We are already looking forward to participating in the next transport logistic trade show, which takes place from 4th to 7th May 2021.

DTG is a partner in the RUHR GAMES CLUB 2019

Use language to build bridges and overcome barriers.

When DTG decided over the last few years to expand its fleet to include new member companies, we realised we had to do something to improve our communication with those members, whose mother tongue is not German. To this end, we have negotiated an agreement with the company, which represents us in Stettin.

Adriana

Mrs Adriana Wroblewska,
has been employed by our representative in Stettin since 2007 and will now provide us with valuable support in our communications with our Polish-speaking members.

You can reach Mrs Wroblewska as follows:

Mobile: +48 782530044
Email: adriana@dtg-eg.de

We are looking forward to a strong, communicative partnership.

FULL STEAM AHEAD IN 2019!

“The biggest mistake one can ever make in life is to be continuously afraid of making mistakes.”
(Dietrich Bonhoeffer)

In this light, after a year that was extraordinary in many respects, let us face the challenges together with courage and confidence and take advantage of the opportunities that the new year holds for us.

All members of the DTG Team and our colleagues at ARNO-Ship would like to thank you for the trust you placed in us last year and are looking forward to a strong working relationship in 2019.

From practice, for practice – new colleague in Duisburg

Lukkezen

On 2 January 2019 we welcomed Ms Wiete Lukkezen (32) to our Disposition Team in Duisburg.

After completing her training to become a skipper on an inland waterway vessel, Ms Lukkezen worked for several years at the helm of such vessels before trading in her captain’s chair for an office chair in 2014.

With her training and experience, Ms Lukkezen is a knowledgeable partner for both our customers and our members. Providing support to Tobias Engels and House Andernach is the focus of her role.

We wish Ms Lukkezen all the best in her new position and look forward to working successfully with her.
